HELPS/UKRAINE
On Wednesday 24th we delivered 20 sacks of clothes, shoes and bags; 40 packs nappies; 20lbs candles; and a large sack full of pencils, pens, felt tipped pens, notebooks, colouring books and small novelties. The staff there were so delighted to receive all. However, the sad news is that the nappies, candles and pens, etc will not be collected today from the Ukraine contact as expected. Sadly, Pavel, being of fighting age, had a problem leaving the country until ‘his papers are in order’. Hopefully next week!
Please remember that all items can be eft in the Open Door, in Uphall South Church, with Margaret Forisky or can be collected if preferred.
Call me on 07546 087230. Evelyn
